This Isn't Your Typical Networking Event
- Noawkwardly standing around wondering who to talk to.
- Nocollecting business cards that end up in a drawer.
Connections for a Cause is designed to help you build real relationships—faster.
We'll kick things off at 4:00 PM with open networking, giving you time to grab a drink, meet new people, and reconnect with familiar faces.
Then we'll break into small groups for a guided, intentional networking experience. Through thoughtfully curated questions and conversations, you'll move beyond the usual “What do you do?” and actually get to know the people in the room.
You'll have opportunities to exchange ideas, solve problems, discover ways to support one another, and create connections that can continue long after the event is over.
The Cause
And there's an even bigger purpose behind it.
While you're building relationships, growing your business, and meeting potential referral partners, you'll also be helping support nonprofits doing important work right here in our community.
All proceeds of every ticket support local nonprofits:
Gospel Rescue Mission's Homeless Joe Coffee is part of the coffee and hot chocolate bar.
Disruptors Org
Disruptors Org fights human trafficking in Southern Oregon and beyond, pairing direct survivor support with community education. They cover emergency needs like housing and basic necessities for survivors in crisis, while training communities to recognize and prevent exploitation. Founded in Talent, Oregon, the organization has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for survivor initiatives and hosted anti-trafficking events across the country.
REACH (River's Edge Academy Charter School)
REACH is a tuition-free public charter school serving K-12 students across Rogue River and Grants Pass. With an average of 10 students per class, it offers personalized, place-based learning for kids who need more individual attention than a traditional classroom provides. The school reports a 93% graduation rate and is known for the kind of close, supportive community where overlooked or struggling students find their footing.
Gospel Rescue Mission of Grants Pass
Gospel Rescue Mission has helped people leave homelessness behind for good in Josephine County since 1983. Their newest project, MissionView Village, will build 15 units of affordable housing for homeless seniors on a fixed income, a population they say faces steeper barriers than almost any other group on the street. It's part of the Mission's broader Pathway to Independence work, which moves residents from crisis to stability through structure, accountability, and community.
Youth 71Five
71Five builds trusting, long-term relationships between caring adults and at-risk youth across Jackson and Josephine Counties. Through campus youth centers, mentoring programs, and workshops in local schools, they give kids who lack stable role models a safe place to belong and adults who consistently show up for them.
